We recently discovered a show/series on Cinemax called “Strike Back” – it’s become our newest guilty pleasure.
There’s plenty of nice eye candy for Paul and me (some of it is definitely for “mature” audiences, though, IYKWIMAITTYD)

I have toyed with starting to watch it. I was hesitant because it strikes a bit too close to home for me.

Oh, and the characters are part of a fictional subsection of MI-6; most of the “action” takes place in Southern Africa and deals with stuff unrelated to the American WOT. It’s not a “unit” show dealing with war; more of a covert Special Ops thing.

Thanks for that! We’ve only seen 2 seasons – I think the 1st one was on a channel other than Cinemax (BBC, maybe?). We’re also looking forward to Season 4
I love this show! My brother has been hyping this show for months. I finally sat down and watched season 1(only 6 episodes i believe?). I am going thru season 2 now and it is EXCELLENT! This series are like watching mini one hour movies! Besides the great eye candy, I have to admit the writing has kept me on the edge of my seats trying to keep up and outguess the writers! It is that good!!
